The Purpose
The purpose of our Science & Technology branch is to give youth a space to explore STEM fields and develop hands-on skills in science, engineering, and technology. While school may focus on theory, this category allows participants to experiment, build, and discover through projects in areas like electricity, crop science, engines, computers, space, and environmental technology.
Additionally, this category supports problem-solving and innovation by encouraging research, experimentation, and creative thinking. Youth can investigate careers in engineering, environmental science, or information technology while practicing teamwork, critical thinking, and technical skills. By participating, youth gain confidence in their ability to explore new ideas and apply knowledge in meaningful ways.
