The Purpose

The purpose of our Communication & Expressive Arts branch is to give youth a space to explore their creativity and develop communication skills through various forms of artistic expression. Unlike many schools that offer electives in art, music, and media, our school doesn't place much emphasis on these creative outlets. This category fills that gap by offering students the chance to engage in hands-on, expressive projects beyond the boundaries of their academic tracks.

From painting and photography to writing, digital design, and video editing, youth are encouraged to experiment with different art forms to share their ideas and emotions. This branch also promotes mental health awareness by showing how creative expression can help process feelings and connect with others. Whether you're telling a story through film or designing a visual piece that speaks volumes, this is where imagination and communication come together.

"Your art doesn’t have to make sense to anyone else — that’s how you know it’s yours. Being a leader means showing up as yourself, even if it’s bold, messy, or different."
