The Purpose

The purpose of our Personal Development branch is to give everyone a platform to explore and share topics that reflect their individual interests and personal growth. We go to a rigid school where you can only focus/study according to your pathway, but here whether it's demonstrating how to play chess, explaining how to pack for a trip, or researching the great pyramids, this open-ended category encourages creativity, curiosity, and the development of communication skills.

Additionally, this category supports career exploration and life skill development through presentations on future goals, workplace readiness, and entrepreneurship. Youth can investigate career paths, learn how to write resumes, explore business ideas, or dive into college prep—all while practicing real-world skills like public speaking and critical thinking. Overall, this category helps prepare young people for success both personally and professionally by giving them the tools to lead, present, and grow.
