The Purpose
The purpose of our Business & Marketing branch is to give youth the opportunity to develop skills that are essential for running a business or managing projects. While school may focus on academics, this category allows youth to explore entrepreneurship, promotion, and financial management in a hands-on way. Whether it’s creating a business plan, organizing an event, or practicing marketing strategies, participants gain experience that can be applied in real-world settings.
Additionally, this category supports career readiness and professional growth through lessons on budgeting, goal setting, business ethics, and communication. Youth can investigate careers in marketing, public relations, or event planning while building problem-solving, leadership, and teamwork skills.
